What Is Scheduled Publishing?

Scheduled publishing is a key feature of Shifter. It allows you to publish generated Artifacts on a future date, restore past Artifacts to a specified date, or publish Artifacts for a limited time.

How to Schedule

You can schedule the publication of an Artifact by following the steps below.

  1. Log in to the Shifter dashboard.
  2. Go to the Shifter site.
  3. Go to the “Staging” menu.
  4. Click the [Manage] button and the [Schedule Publish] button for the Deploy you want to schedule.
  5. Enter the date and time, then click the [Schedule] button.
  6. The date and time have been set.
  7. Wait until the Artifact is published. That’s it.
