Domain Verification Status

Pending This status means that your domain name is awaiting domain verification or that the site’s verification code is awaiting addition to your DNS records.

Verified Domain name verification is complete, and the SSL digital certificate has been issued. Your domain name has been assigned to the site and is waiting to go live.

Verification Timeout This means either the domain name verification code has expired, or Shifter was simply unable to verify your domain name. Please delete the expired domain name and generate a new verification code. Since the verification code expires 72 hours after issuance, please apply the DNS records before it expires.

Renewal Required Shifter was unable to create the SSL certificate during renewal because you removed the verification code from your DNS records. Click the [Renew Required] button to generate a verification code and set it in your DNS records.
If the issue persists
Domain name verification may take several hours or longer. If the domain name status does not resolve, please contact the support desk with the following information:
- Site ID
- The domain name you are trying to verify
- The error message from the Shifter dashboard or a screenshot of the error
- The domain name’s DNS settings or a screenshot of them
