How to Delete Your Shifter Account

Before You Begin:

If you own a Shifter Static site or any associated domain names, Shifter blocks account deletion to prevent accidental deletion. To delete your account, you must first delete all resources from Shifter.

Instructions:

1. Make sure all sites have been deleted
   

   
   

2. Go to the Account page.
   Click the Gravatar icon in the top-right corner of the page.

   
   

3. Go to [Account & Security].
   Click the [Account & Security] menu in the left sidebar.
   

   
   

4. Click [Delete Account]

   
   

   If you see a message saying “You must delete all your sites” as shown in the following screenshot, go to the Sites page and delete all your sites. For instructions on how to delete sites, see Deleting Sites.
   

   
   

5. Confirm that you want to continue.
   Type “delete” in the field and click the [Delete] button.

   
   

6. Once complete, you’ll be redirected to the login page.
