Initiatives for Customers’ Peace of Mind
Shifter is a certified service
under the AWS ISV Accelerate Program.
Shifter has become a certified service under the “AWS ISV Accelerate Program” within the AWS Partner Network (APN).
This can also be seen as proof that Shifter has cleared AWS’s program requirement, the “AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR),” and is a service that can be used on a global scale.
What is the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR)?
Qualified AWS Partner Solutions Architects (PSAs) verify the risks in a partner’s solutions and products in accordance with AWS best practices.
To pass the FTR, a solution must comply with AWS best practices related to security, reliability, and operational excellence.
For partners, this reduces the risk in their own solutions and helps avoid unnecessary losses, while also reducing risk for the customers who use those solutions and products.
In other words, the FTR is a review designed to bring customers peace of mind and better business outcomes.
Once all risks are confirmed to have been resolved, the solution or product passes the FTR, meaning it has been “endorsed by AWS.” Only after passing the FTR can a partner apply for the AWS Competency Program and AWS Service Ready Program, which serve as proof of a high level of technical skill and a track record of customer success.
For more information about the FTR, please refer to the official AWS page.

Shifter’s Shared Responsibility Model
As a WordPress static site hosting platform, Shifter provides an environment where customers can focus on their business with peace of mind. This shared responsibility model clarifies the areas of responsibility for both Shifter and its customers, serving as a guideline for achieving secure, high-performance website operations through both parties fulfilling their appropriate roles.
What Is Shifter’s Shared Responsibility Model?

The shared responsibility model is an industry-standard concept in cloud services, adopted by global cloud providers such as Amazon and Microsoft. Shifter has optimized this principle for WordPress static site hosting, defining areas of responsibility in a clear two-layer structure.
