Shifter Local provides all the software needed to run a WordPress hosting environment locally. It can be used as an alternative to tools such as MAMP, WAMP, and XAMPP. Basic knowledge of Docker and the CLI is required. It is completely open source and free to use.
Shifter Local Prerequisites
To use Shifter Local, you must first install Docker and Docker Compose.
