The Shifter-Local documentation is available on GitHub. This is a project created by Shifter users to allow them to test themes, plugins, and sites locally before migrating them online. Depending on certain plugins or coding practices, the Generator may hang or generate errors. Shifter-Local helps you identify and resolve these issues, create tickets for plugin developers, or submit feedback.
Generating Targets
Shifter and Shifter-Local install several helper plugins. One of them is Shifter Artifact Helper, which is installed as a MU (Must Use) plugin. This WordPress plugin allows the Generator to create a list of URLs to generate. This plugin reserves the parameter url and is used to output the list of URLs to be generated.
For example, https://127.0.0.1:8443/?urls=$number. You can verify the target by counting up from $number from 0 to any number until the value becomes true when the JSON is complete.
