Artifacts on Shifter are static versions (or builds) of your WordPress site. They are an entire copy of your site as HTML, CSS, and assets.

To build an Artifact you must first create a site and complete your WordPress installation.

 

Step 1: Setup your Site and WordPress

If you have not created a site yet you follow our Get Started guide.

 

Step 2: Create an Artifact

Artifact features will be disabled if your WordPress is running.
First, stop WordPress if it’s running then create your Artifact with the Generate Artifact panel.

Second, name artifact and click [Generate] button

Third, optional. Set notifications when generate finished.

Fourthly, click [Deploy] button, and confirm.

 Fifthly, check the Artifact’s status is published and click [View Site]
