Shifter Static now allows you to register a custom domain name for your site, with both a single domain name and its www prefixed (†).
If you migrate or consolidate your site and wish to use multiple domains, please register each domain as a separate domain and switch between them as appropriate.

Allowed pattern

A. Naked (Zone Apex) domain and its www prefixed domain name.

Domain: example.com
Alternate Domain Name: www.example.com

B. www prefixed domain name and its naked (Zone Apex) domain name.

Domain: www.example.com
Alternate Domain Name: example.com

Prohibited patterns

A. Naked (Apex) domain name and another domain name with www-prefix.

Domain: example.net
Alternate Domain Name: www.example.com

B. Naked (Apex) domain and another naked domain name.

Domain: example.net
Alternate Domain Name: example.jp

C. Both are prefixed domain names

Domain: sample.example.net
Alternate Domain Name: subdomain.example.net
